Rounds connects people for short video conversations. Here is what that involves.

Camera and microphone

Your camera and microphone are only used after you agree on the device check screen. During the host's presentation only hosts are on camera; attendees watch and listen. During rounds your video and audio go to the people you are matched with. Calls are never recorded.

What we store

Your sign-in identity and email (from our sign-in provider), the profile fields you choose to fill in, the events you register for, who you were matched with, your Connect choices, and any reports or blocks you make. Hosts see the names and presence of their attendees.

Who sees your contact details

Nobody, unless you and another person both choose Connect after meeting. Then each of you sees the other's email and LinkedIn link on the event summary.

Service providers

Sign-in is handled by WorkOS, data is stored with Supabase, video is relayed by LiveKit, and the site is hosted on Vercel. Video passes through LiveKit's servers in real time and is not stored.

Deleting your data

You can delete your data at any time from your profile . Reports about safety are kept without your identity so organizers can still act on them.
